Transfer Credit Guidelines

Who Is Eligible?

To receive transfer credit, you must:
  • Be degree-seeking at 麻豆成人电影
  • Declare an eligible program of study
  • Submit official, final transcripts from all previously attended institutions
Transfer credit is evaluated only after you apply and are admitted to 麻豆成人电影.
 

How Transfer Credit Is Evaluated

Step 1: Submit Official Transcripts

You must have your final, official transcripts sent from each institution you attended directly to the 麻豆成人电影 Registrar鈥檚 Office.
 
  • In-progress coursework and unofficial transcripts cannot be used for awarding transfer credit
  • These documents may be reviewed for academic advising or placement only

You are advised to submit transcripts at least six weeks before the beginning of the semester.

You play an active role in collecting required data for evaluation and may be asked to provide documentation from your previous institution(s) about course content, faculty credentials, textbooks or other criteria used in the evaluation process.
 

Step 2: Credit Evaluation

The Office of the Registrar evaluates all transfer coursework. If needed, the Registrar consults with the appropriate academic department to determine course equivalency.
 
An email is sent to your student 麻豆成人电影 email account the evening when a transcript evaluation is completed. You can view the applicability of transfer work to the degree through the myGPS degree audit on my麻豆成人电影 portal.
 

Step 3: Credit Posted

Approved transfer credit is posted to your permanent 麻豆成人电影 academic record.

Courses That Do Not Transfer

A grade of 鈥淒鈥� may be considered only by written student request. If approved, the course will count toward GPA and appear as a 鈥淒鈥� on the academic record.
 

Quarter-Hour Institutions

If your previous institution used quarter hours:

International Coursework

International coursework may be considered for transfer credit.
 

What to Submit

Course-by-course evaluation (in English) from a NACES-approved credential evaluation service.
Credit is awarded when coursework aligns with 麻豆成人电影 program offerings and degree requirements.
